The Dashin Champion 1550 is a precision Taiwanese machine with adjustable taper roller bearings for spindle accuracy and hardened and ground V-beds and headstock gears.

Geometric progression gear speed selector, an inching button for spindle speed selection, and a foot brake with a safety cut-out switch.
Safety Features:
The lathe includes a chuck guard with a safety micro switch, overload protection on the drive motor and coolant system, and a coolant system with a flexible hose.
Versatility:
It has a removable gap bed for larger workpieces (swing up to 610mm), powered longitudinal and cross feeds, and a clutch in the apron for feed pressure adjustment.
